Conducell 4USF Arc Details

The Conducell 4USF Arc is a 4-pole conductivity sensor that incorporates Arc technology. This technology enables features such as calibration storage and predictive diagnostics directly within the sensor. It is equipped with a VP8 connector. 

Being part of the Conducell 4UxF series, it is compatible with PG13.5 process connections and allows for direct connection to control systems, eliminating the need for a separate transmitter. This sensor is designed for hygienic applications and is compatible with CIP, SIP, and autoclave sterilization.

What can I use to clean the conductivity sensor electrodes if fouling occurs?

The metal electrodes of 2 and 4-pole sensors can be cleaned with water and mild detergents and washed with deionized water after cleaning. Care should be taken to not use cleaning agents that can impact the material of the electrodes. Click to reference the knowledgebase article on cleaning for more information.

How do I communicate with an Arc sensor?

Arc sensors have a built-in micro-transmitter within the sensor. ArcAir software is a powerful tool to access data, configure and calibrate the sensor. This can be done with Bluetooth wireless communication or with a wired connection directly to a PC.

Does the cell constant of my conductivity sensor change over time?

The cell constant of a conductivity sensor may change over time due to corrosion of the electrodes from an aggressive media, or due to fouling of the electrodes. Calibration adjusts the cell constant and can help offset these effects to a certain extent.
