How It's Used

Organoid Screening Workflow Automation

Automate the transition from heterogeneous organoid cultures to assay-ready plates using image-based selection and controlled transfer.

Reduce manual handling and improve consistency in high-throughput screening workflows.

From Culture to Assay-Ready Plates

The Organoid Sorter enables automated organoid workflow standardization for screening applications. It supports the transition from heterogeneous 3D cultures to reproducible assay-ready formats using image-based selection and controlled pick-and-place.

Selection and Transfer

Organoids are detected using integrated imaging and are selected based on configurable parameters such as size, morphology, and contrast. A pressure-controlled system enables precise aspiration and dispensing for targeted placement into defined wells.

Quality Control and Traceability

Both pre-and-post-transfer imaging enables quality control at each step. Process data, images, and parameters are automatically logged to support reproducible and traceable workflows.

Screening-Ready Performance

Demonstrated preparation of a 96-well assay plate in under 30 minutes using a 6-well source format with pre-and-post-pick imaging.

Common applications Cell Biology, Cell Culture, Cell-Based Assays, Pharma & Biopharma, Gene and Cell Therapy

Ensure consistent organoid selection and placement using image-based criteria, reducing variability at the start of screening workflows.

Automate time-intensive picking and plating steps to reduce hands-on time and minimize dependency on operator skill, enabling more consistent and efficient daily workflows.

Capture images, selection parameters, and transfer data for each step to support reproducible, documented, and auditable workflows.

Work with SBS plates and adaptable labware formats without reliance on proprietary consumables, enabling integration into existing workflows.

Scale from manual handling to automated plate preparation to increase screening throughput without proportional increases in labor or workflow complexity.
