Polyplast PRO Details

The maintenance free Polyplast Pro sensor is designed for pH measurements in water applications where sensor breakage is a concern, especially in low conductivity samples, e.g. wastewater, fish farming and groundwater.

The single pore liquid junction guarantees best measurement results because of direct contact between the sample and the Polisolve electrolyte - clogging is nearly impossible. The Polyplast Pro sensor comes with a robust plastic shaft and glass bulb protection.

What is the difference between ORP and Redox?

They are the same. Redox is a shortened word for “Reduction Potential”. ORP is shortened for “Oxidation Reduction Potential”. The sensor and measurement is the same.

What is a polymer-filled sensor and why would I choose it?

Polymer-filled sensors use solid (or nearly solid) electrolyte. This design keeps electrolyte from flowing out of the sensor and process liquid from poisoning or clogging the sensor. Polymer filled sensors are a great choice for industrial applications with strong chemicals, particulates and elevated pressures.
