Enhanced Automation Productivity

Achieve reliable results and maximize walkaway time with continuous visual monitoring that helps to support troubleshooting and prevent unplanned downtime.

Get the Full Picture

Gain real-time visual monitoring over automated operations with DeckWatch. This dual camera system mounts on a Hamilton Microlab STAR, Microlab STAR V, or Microlab VANTAGE automated liquid handler to continuously monitor deck actions. By doing so, errors may be quickly identified and resolved to reduce unplanned downtime. It can even aid in reducing process development efforts. DeckWatch is especially useful for extended runs, including multi-day processes and weekend operations.

Protecting and Providing Valuable Information

DeckWatch’s integration with the automated liquid handler is non-intrusive and flexible, and additional cameras may be added to the system as needed. User permission levels can be set to limit or expand viewing access, and observers on the same network can access encrypted video files or live footage in real time. DeckWatch may be triggered manually, via a schedule, or by motion detection.

To protect sensitive workflow, laboratory, and user information, DeckWatch can mask up to 64 designated privacy zones.

Common applications Genomics, Nucleic Acid Extraction, Cell Biology, Protein Sciences, Protein Purification

On-deck video monitoring and recording enables rapid troubleshooting to streamline support and significantly minimize system downtime.

Continuous automated workflow monitoring supports ongoing optimization efforts to ensure greater reliability and accuracy of results.

Full encryption protects data, while privacy zones safeguard sensitive process details along with operator and laboratory privacy.
