Dencytee Arc RS485 Details

Hamilton’s Dencytee Arc RS485 is an in-line optical sensor that measures total cell density and turbidity via transmittance and reflectance. Its robust design adapts to changes in ambient light and temperature, ensuring you never miss an important event during your bioprocess.  Additionally, it features easy air verification with our Maintenance Tool Kit.

All particles and molecules that scatter light at 860 nm will be detected, including living and dead cells as well as cell debris. This sensor can also be utilized as a turbidity sensor for monitoring crystallization, filtration and dissolving processes.

Hamilton’s Arc technology provides a robust connection directly to the Process Control System without the need for an additional external transmitter.

Common applications Cell Biology, Cell Culture, Power, Energy, & Environment, Water and Wastewater, Chemical Processes

Enhance process understanding with real-time data from continuous measurement.

Never miss an important event during your bioprocess.

Robust design adapts to changes in ambient light and temperature.

Easy Transmitter-less

  • Hamilton Arc technology enables seamless integration to a control system, PLC, or DCS without a bulky transmitter.
  • Leverage the Arc platform to perform maintenance and configuration with ArcAir™ software.

Correlation to Off-line Measurements

  • With Dencytee Arc, a built-in correlation model provides a robust link between the in-line optical density signal and commonly used off-line measurements of biomass.
  • Enables real-time, in-situ data of off-line biomass concentrations.
