Hamilton’s Hat Type Needles are specifically designed for compatibility with Hamilton’s ¼-28 flat bottom valve ports (1/4 inch nominal outer diameter, 28 threads per inch), including those used in automated liquid handling systems. These precision-engineered needles for valve ports ensure accurate, reliable, and leak-free fluid transfer, making them ideal for laboratory and industrial applications. Hat needles are supplied in three-packs.

Note on Length: Needle length is specified from the needle point to the start of the installation hardware. The distance from the needle point to the back end of the hub is length + 14.22 mm. This additional length is added so that when a needle is fixed into a port, with Hamilton fitting part number 35056, the overall exposed length of the needle is the length specified by the order.
