How do I choose a Point Style 4 needle bevel angle?

The most common bevel angles are 12°, 30°, and 45°. A standard Point Style 4 needle features a default bevel angle of 12°, which is the sharpest needle we offer. For applications which require a sharp needle with a shorter bevel length, a 30° or 45° bevel would be recommended. As the bevel angle increases, the bevel length decreases, and the point becomes less sharp.
