Yes, the Arc Wi 1G or 2G will need a firmware update to WI0MB007 or higher to communicate with the new sensor.

Which wireless adapter do I need for my sensor?

Hamilton makes two Bluetooth wireless adapters - Wi 1G and Wi 2G. The Wi 1G is designed for VisiFerm sensors using the ECS (nA) signal. The Wi 2G is better choice with Arc sensors.
