Why is there a sticky substance in my syringe/needle?
If your sample contains protein, it is not recommended to rinse your syringe/needle with an ethanol-based solution as this often creates a sticky residue which is difficult to remove. Please see the Syringe Care and Use Guide for additional cleaning recommendations.
