VisiTrace mA L1 Details

VisiTrace mA is an optical dissolved oxygen (DO) sensor specifically designed for reliable trace-level oxygen monitoring in brewery and power plant applications. Building on Hamilton's proven optical DO sensor technology, VisiTrace mA delivers accurate and stable dissolved oxygen measurements from 0.8 to 2000 ppb, enabling precise monitoring during critical process steps such as filtration, filling, and boiler feed water analysis.

The sensor is delivered ready-to-use without the need for polarization, enabling rapid startup and immediate measurement availability. Compared to conventional amperometric dissolved oxygen sensors, VisiTrace mA provides flow-independent measurements, fast response times, and requires significantly less maintenance.

The sensor features a 4–20 mA output with digital HART communication for seamless integration into process control systems. An integrated Bluetooth 5 wireless interface may be used for sensor monitoring, configuration, and calibration. Global approvals including ATEX, IECEx, CSA, UL, and FM make the sensor suitable for hazardous and explosive environments worldwide.

The replaceable ODO Cap simplifies maintenance and sensor servicing. The specially developed ODO Cap L1 is designed for trace-level dissolved oxygen measurements and provides resistance against standard disinfectant solutions containing active chlorine and chlorine dioxide. This design enhances durability and ensures reliable long-term operation in demanding brewery and power plant environments.

Combining reliable trace-level measurement performance, low-maintenance operation, advanced optical sensing technology, and global hazardous-area approvals, VisiTrace mA provides a robust solution for long-term dissolved oxygen monitoring in applications where even very low oxygen concentrations are critical.

Common applications Water, Energy, & Environment, Power Generation, Chemical Processes, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas Processing, Agri-Food and Beverage

Optimize operations using low-maintenance dissolved oxygen sensors with rapid response times.

Prevent oxidation and preserve quality with dissolved oxygen sensing down to trace (ppb) levels.

ATEX, and IECEx certified, with CSA approval for North American hazardous locations (Class I, II, III)
