The OxyGold G Arc polarographic dissolved oxygen sensors are a great solution for trace part-per-billion oxygen measurement combined with Arc intelligent sensor technology. Industry standard 4 - 20mA and Modbus outputs allow the OxyGold G to be directly connected to the PCS control system with no need for a transmitter or controller. All configuration and calibration can be accomplished through ArcAir software.

The OxyGold G Arc is an electrochemical polarographic dissolved oxygen (DO) sensor specifically designed for demanding industrial applications requiring either reliable oxygen measurement in media containing acidic gases or highly sensitive trace oxygen monitoring. Building on Hamilton's proven electrochemical DO sensor technology, the OxyGold G Arc sensors deliver accurate, dependable dissolved oxygen measurements for specialized process applications.

Industry-standard 4 - 20mA and Modbus outputs allow the OxyGold G Arc to be directly connected to the PCS control system with no need for a transmitter or controller. Their robust electrochemical design provides reliable long-term performance in demanding industrial environments.

How do I communicate with an Arc sensor?

Arc sensors have a built-in micro-transmitter within the sensor. ArcAir software is a powerful tool to access data, configure and calibrate the sensor. This can be done with Bluetooth wireless communication or with a wired connection directly to a PC.

Does temperature impact my oxygen measurement?

Yes, in a closed system, gas phase temperature is directly proportional to pressure and therefore measured oxygen content. In solution, temperature is inversely proportional to dissolved oxygen content.

How should I store my polarographic DO sensor?

For short term storage (< 1 month), polarographic DO sensors should be stored wet in electrolyte solution with the membrane immersed in a watering cap. For long term storage (> 1 month), remove internal electrolyte, rinse cathode and membrane in deionized water, and store dry.
