The discontinued VisiPro Optical DO Ex sensor family was designed for industrial environments with standard and Ex versions for use in explosive environments. Hamilton's own substitutes VisiFerm mA meet and exceed the specification and performance requirements and reduce the effects of ageing and temperature with 100% backwards compatibility to existing installation. VisiFerm mA is delivered with Ex approval as standard.

Yes, atmospheric pressure directly impacts the partial pressure of oxygen in the measured air and is linearly proportional to the measured oxygen content.

Does temperature impact my oxygen measurement?

Yes, in a closed system, gas phase temperature is directly proportional to pressure and therefore measured oxygen content. In solution, temperature is inversely proportional to dissolved oxygen content.
