Flow-Through Cell PEEK TC Details
This flow-through cell, manufactured from FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved PEEK (Polyether ether ketone), is specifically designed to facilitate the seamless insertion of the Conducell 4US-T150-50 conductivity sensor into a piping system. When used in combination with a FlexiFit 242335-25, it is further possible to integrate all Hamilton Sensors in this FlowCell including cell density, pH and DO sensors.
A key advantage of utilizing a PEEK flow-through cell in this application is its non-conductive nature. This crucial property effectively prevents potential measurement errors that can arise from the influence of electronic fields present in metal pipes. By isolating the sensor from the conductive environment of the piping, the PEEK flow-through cell ensures more accurate and reliable conductivity readings. The FlowCell is easy to connect thanks to the two 1.5” Triclamp connections on both sides, a widely used standard in the industry.
Prevents conductivity measurement errors from metal pipes.
Non-conductive nature eliminates metal pipe interference.
Ensures accurate conductivity readings.
FDA Approved PEEK Material
- Constructed from PEEK, a high-performance polymer that is approved by the FDA for use in food and pharmaceutical applications.
- This ensures biocompatibility and chemical resistance to a wide range of process fluids, maintaining the integrity of the measurement and the process stream.
Robust and Chemically Resistant
- PEEK is known for its excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and broad chemical resistance.
- This ensures the flow-through cell can withstand demanding process conditions and exposure to various chemicals without degradation, providing a long and reliable service life.
Facilitates Conducell 4US-T150-50 Insertion
- Specifically designed with the precise dimensions and connections required for the easy and secure insertion of the Conducell 4US-T150-50 conductivity sensor into a piping system.
- This ensures proper alignment and optimal performance of the sensor within the flow cell.
Standard 1.5" Connection
- Features a 1.5" connection (likely a standard pipe thread or flange size), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of commonly used industrial piping systems.
- This standardization simplifies installation and integration into existing processes.
