ChemoTrode ORP Sensors

The ChemoTrode is the most robust ORP sensor designed for demanding applications typically found in chemical and pharmaceutical industries. It has a port which allows refilling of the electrolyte and pressurization of the reference system up to 6 bar. It's Everef-F cartridge ensures that the reference electrolyte remains free of silver ions and protein precipitation that may cause plugging of the diaphragm.

What solution should I store my pH or ORP probe in?
Hamilton recommends storing pH and ORP probes wet in either Hamilton Storage Solution (Ref 238931) or in 3M KCl solution. Click to see the pH/ ORP Sensor Storage and Regeneration Knowledgebase for more information. -
What is A-length and how is it measured?
A-length refers to the insertion depth of the sensor. It's generally measured from the base of the PG13.5 mounting threads but can vary with certain styles of sensors. -
How do I clean an ORP sensor?
The platinum band around the tip of the ORP sensor can oxidize over time. Light scrubbing with a mild abrasive such as toothpaste will remove the oxidization. Rinse with potable water and store in storage solution prior to usage
