Hamilton's 700 series, Microliter #701 Cemented Needle (N) Syringe With Guide is designed for manual dispensing. This syringe comes with the Syringe Guide installed to eliminate the assembly step which can lead to damage of the smaller volume syringes. This 700 series syringe offers a velvet feel,  featuring a stainless-steel plunger crafted to fit the glass barrel with a tolerance of less than three-thousandths of a millimeter. These syringes are manufactured from high-quality, chemically resistant materials and ensure dimensional accuracy, and optimal needle length with superior durability and accuracy within 1%.

    We commonly use microliter syringes for the preparation of reactions as they allow for the precise addition of reagents, and in addition, are inert to many of the redox reagents we use in our chemistry. We can also accurately transfer reactive species for chemical analysis without significant sample degradation. As we move into a new phase of our research, Hamilton syringes will allow for the accurate analysis of reaction products. This will include the GC analysis of N2, H2, and small molecule activation products from C-N bond forming chemistry.
