VisiTrace DO Ex (Discontinued) Details

The discontinued VisiTrace DO Ex sensor family was designed for industrial environments with standard and Ex versions for use in explosive environments. Hamilton's substitute VisiTrace mA meets and exceeds the specification and performance requirements and reduces the effects of ageing and temperature with 100% backwards compatibility to existing installations.

When should I calibrate my DO sensor?

The frequency of calibration will depend upon the duration of process runs and the accuracy required for process control. In bioreactor applications calibration can be performed before sterilization; however many customers choose to calibrate after sterilization as well.

Can I use a VisiFerm, VisiPro, or VisiTrace for gas phase oxygen measurements?

Yes. Optical DO sensors can be used for monitoring oxygen contents in air as well as dissolved oxygen.
