DO Adapter Details

The DO Adapter is designed for mounting 120 mm oxygen or conductivity sensors with a consistent 12 mm shaft diameter. It is not compatible with pH sensors or the Conducell UPW. When installed correctly, the sensor tip aligns nearly flush with the Hygienic Socket, ensuring excellent cleanability and precise process integration.

Do optical DO sensors require flow to measure accurately?

No, optical dissolved oxygen sensors will measure accurately without the need for flow. This is a key difference between optical and polarographic measurement technology. Polarographic sensors consume oxygen as part of their electrochemical reaction thus should have constant flow moving past the sensor to maintain accurate readings.
