pH Sensor Cable S7 / BNC
Connect your traditional pH sensors (lacking temperature compensation) to bioreactor controllers (often older Sartorius models) or laboratory pH meters using this single coax cable, featuring an S7 connector and a DIN termination, while being mindful of the recessed S7 design to prevent moisture issues.

pH Sensor Cable S7 / BNC Details
This single coaxial cable is specifically designed to establish a connection between traditional pH sensors, which typically feature an S7 (2-connector) interface, and devices equipped with a DIN connector. On the sensor end, the cable incorporates the S7 connector, commonly found on older style pH sensors that do not have built-in temperature compensation. It is important to be aware that S7 connectors have a recessed design, which requires careful handling to avoid the trapping of moisture. Accumulated moisture within the recess can potentially lead to a short circuit and interfere with the accuracy of the pH measurement signal.
On the device side, the cable is terminated with a DIN connector. This type of connector is typically found on older Satorius biocontrollers used in bioreactor systems, as well as on some laboratory-grade pH meters. This cable serves to transmit the analog pH signal generated by the sensor to the connected device for monitoring and analysis.
Enables connection of traditional pH sensors to common bioreactor controllers.
BNC Connector on Controller End
Terminated with a BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connector, a widely used interface for connecting to bioreactor controllers, particularly those manufactured by Applikon, and some older transmitters.
Single Coaxial Cable
Utilizes a single coaxial cable to transmit the analog pH measurement signal from the sensor to the controller, providing a shielded pathway to minimize electrical noise and interference.
