InchTrode Details

InchTrode is a pH sensor specifically designed for demanding applications in the paper making and chemical industries. Building on Hamilton's proven pH sensor technology, InchTrode provides reliable and accurate pH measurement in challenging process environments while offering simple installation and low maintenance requirements.

The ChemoTrode utilizes a refillable liquid electrolyte in combination with Hamilton's Everef-F reference cartridge. This design helps prevent diaphragm clogging while protecting the reference electrolyte from silver ion contamination and protein precipitation, helping to maintain measurement stability and extend sensor service life under demanding process conditions.

Designed for demanding industrial processes, InchTrode sensors feature a robust PEEK shaft and can be installed directly into the process without requiring an additional housing. This simplifies installation while ensuring reliable long-term operation under challenging process conditions.

Available sensor variants include:

InchTrode F
Flat membrane design for applications requiring a flush sensor surface.

InchTrode P
Cylindrical membrane design for general industrial pH measurement applications.

InchTrode C
Fixed cable version for installations requiring a permanently connected sensor cable.

Common applications Chemical Processes

Designed to withstand demanding applications.

Single Pore for direct sample contact with Polisolve electrolyte – no clogging.

  • We particularly appreciated the professional and personable approach.

The training on pH sensors was highly beneficial for us. After a detailed introduction to the fundamentals of pH measurement, electrode measurement principles, and the topic of troubleshooting/prevention, we had sufficient time to ask our specific questions. This enabled us to apply what we learned immediately and integrate it directly into our laboratory routine. We particularly appreciated the professional and personable approach of Mrs. Näf-Rüdiger, who guided us through the informative and application-oriented training session.
