What can I use to clean the conductivity sensor electrodes if fouling occurs?

The metal electrodes of 2 and 4-pole sensors can be cleaned with water and mild detergents and washed with deionized water after cleaning. The cell constant of a conductivity sensor may change over time due to corrosion of the electrodes from an aggressive media, or due to fouling of the electrodes. Calibration adjusts the cell constant and can help offset these effects to a certain extent.
