Does the cell constant of my conductivity sensor change over time?
The cell constant of a conductivity sensor may change over time due to corrosion of the electrodes from an aggressive media, or due to fouling of the electrodes. Calibration adjusts the cell constant and can help offset these effects to a certain extent.
