FlexiFit Bio Details

The FlexiFit housing series is specifically engineered to accommodate 120 mm long pH, ORP, Dissolved Oxygen, Total Cell Density and Dissolved Carbon Dioxide sensors across a multitude of industrial applications. Their versatile design incorporates a variety of process connections, ensuring seamless usability in both demanding chemical industry environments and stringent hygienic processes.

All FlexiFit housings come standard with high-quality EPDM O-rings, providing reliable and chemically resistant sealing. Furthermore, the internal surface boasts an electropolished finish with a roughness average (Ra) of less than 0.4 μm, a quality that is verified and documented with a certificate, making them exceptionally suitable for applications where surface smoothness is critical for preventing microbial adhesion.

The robust construction and material compatibility of FlexiFit housings make them fully compatible with common sterilization procedures such as autoclaving (steam sterilization), Clean-In-Place (CIP), and Sterilization-In-Place (SIP). Recognizing the diverse needs of different applications, there are also supplementary sealing replacement kits available, offering a choice of alternative sealing materials to ensure compatibility with a wider range of process media and temperatures.

Simplifies integration of PG13.5 sensors in various systems.

Ensures ideal sensor placement for accurate measurements.

Offers a large variety of versions to match diverse process connection needs.

Versatile Process Connections

  • Engineered with a wide array of process connection options, ensuring compatibility with various stainless steel tanks and pipes used in both the chemical and hygienic industries.
  • This adaptability simplifies integration and reduces the need for custom adaptations, saving time and cost during installation.

Optimal Sensor Positioning

  • Designed to facilitate the best possible positioning of the 120 mm sensor within the process.
  • This precise placement is crucial for achieving accurate and reliable measurement performance, ensuring that the sensor interacts optimally with the medium being monitored.

Certified Hygienic Surface

  • Features an electropolished internal surface with a roughness average (Ra) of less than 0.4 μm.
  • This exceptionally smooth finish is certified and documented, minimizing the risk of product adhesion and microbial growth, making it ideal for applications with stringent hygiene requirements.

Compatibility with Cleaning/Sterilization

  • Fully compatible with rigorous cleaning and sterilization procedures, including autoclaving, CIP (Clean-In-Place), and SIP (Sterilization-In-Place).
  • This robust compatibility ensures that the housings can withstand the demanding conditions of regular cleaning cycles without compromising their integrity or performance.
  • We particularly appreciated the professional and personable approach.

The training on pH sensors was highly beneficial for us. After a detailed introduction to the fundamentals of pH measurement, electrode measurement principles, and the topic of troubleshooting/prevention, we had sufficient time to ask our specific questions. This enabled us to apply what we learned immediately and integrate it directly into our laboratory routine. We particularly appreciated the professional and personable approach of Mrs. Näf-Rüdiger, who guided us through the informative and application-oriented training session.
