The sliding washer enables a uniform seal between the O-ring and the glass sensors. It guides the O-ring to the glass shaft of the sensor when pressure is applied to the sensor. It also protects the connection between the glass shaft and the sensor head. The matching O-rings can be found in the set: 10181562
