Microlab VANTAGE Liquid Handling System

The Next Generation
Discover the ultimate in precision engineering, performance, and craftsmanship. The modular design of the Microlab VANTAGE automated liquid handling platform allows the lab to optimize storage, device integration, and transport space without sacrificing deck space. As a result, rely on Hamilton to process more samples in less time without risk of error or variability.
Features and Benefits

Precision Pipetting
The Microlab VANTAGE uses air displacement pipetting to achieve superior measurement accuracy. Additionally, Hamilton pipette channels and tips are designed to fit precisely together using a patented lock-and-key design called CO-RE (Compressed O-Ring Expansion). This creates a tight seal with precise tip alignment to eliminate tip distortion and ensure the highest accuracy during liquid handling steps. Optional anti-droplet control and liquid level detection technologies further safeguard sample and results integrity.

Modular Architecture
The convenience of a modular architecture means that users can conveniently select modules specific to their application and upgrade at any time as their needs evolve.
- Pipettor: Customize the number of pipetting arms, channels, and transport options
- Logistics Cabinet: Storage, waste, device integration, Entry/Exit below-deck transport space
- Track Gripper: Transportation between the Pipettor and Logistics Cabinet as well as third-party instruments
- Rear Integration Cabinet: Extensive storage and device integration space

Integrated Tools and Accessories
With a flexible deck layout, the Microlab VANTAGE accommodates a broad range of tools and accessories to further enhance assay flexibility.
- Internal Plate Gripper (IPG)
- Hamilton Heater Shaker (HHS)
- [MPE]2 positive pressure module
- Much more

Automation Software Simplified
Microlab VANTAGE is powered by Hamilton’s VENUS Software, enabling users to design simple and complex workflows. VENUS combines a user-friendly interface, built-in Power Steps for common applications, and the ability to monitor runs remotely through a web browser. The software is also optimized with a flexible API for flexible integration of LIMS and third-party software and Hamilton’s advanced MagPip Pipetting technology.

Confidence through Sample Tracking
The Microlab VANTAGE uses barcode scanners to track samples in labware, and tracking information may be exported for detailed history reports.

Protecting Users and Data
The Microlab VANTAGE enclosed housing uses sensor-controlled door locks to prevent user injuries and safeguard samples from environmental contaminants. Software is 21 CFR part 11 compliant to prevent data manipulation and loss.
