The "Y" flow path features one Bubble Free Prime (BFP) syringe port, which connects to one of the two 1/4"-28 threaded flat-bottom ports at a time. The Hamaflon plug valve (PN: 99891-02) offers excellent chemical resistance, low dead/swept volume, and a long life expectancy.
Precision Syringe Drive (PSD) Valves
- Designed for use with Hamilton PSD/4 and PSD/6
- These valves feature one dedicated syringe port and two or more 1/4"-28 threaded ports.
- Constructed of durable and chemically resistant materials for long-term reliability.
Bubble Free Prime (BFP) Syringes
The 5/16"-28 syringe termination threads directly into the valve providing a secure, leak-free seal.
- Conical plunger tip eliminates dead volume within the syringe
- Eliminates risk of trapped air for assured accuracy
- Reduces the number of cycles required to prime the fluid path
- Chemically resistant fluid path materials
"Y" Flow Path
The "Y" flow path connects the syringe to one of the two ports at a time. This flow path is most commonly used to fill the syringe through one port and dispense through the other.
Hamaflon Plug Valves
Featuring a rotating Hamaflon plug for reliable fluid path selection, these valves offer excellent durability and PTFE-equivalent chemical compatibility.
