Ideal for Chemical Processes

The Retractex C LT housing supports process sensing applications in a wide range of chemical applications. This space-saving sensor housing has a 36 mm stroke to conserve seal wearing along with flanged process connections.

This sensor housing is used with our 12 mm diameter sensors for process analytics and offers an insertion depth up to 207 mm.

Easy Cleaning

Once pneumatically or manually retracted, the housing’s sensor can be thoroughly cleaned without disturbing the overall process or risking harm to users.

Stainless steel or PVDF and PEEK wetted material options and other sealing materials work with a wide range of chemical solutions.

The Retractex C LT housing retracts so that the sensor and housing surfaces can be fully cleaned and disinfected offline while the process continues to run.

Sensor Cleaning with the Retractex C LT

Once retracted, the sensor can be cleaned while the process is running. Cleaning fluid is connected through external ports where either manual cleaning or automated cleaning with the RetractoControl can occur.

A PTFE scraper with o-ring built into the insertion tube guarantees that process build-up stays outside of the armature and does not harm the internal o-ring seals
