Retractex BC Retractable Sensor Housing
Stands Up to Everyday Demands
The Retractex BC is a robust retractable sensor housing engineered for reliable, general-purpose process monitoring. Designed with both manual and pneumatic retraction options, it ensures easy handling and minimal process interruption during sensor maintenance or calibration. Its efficient cleaning system supports hygienic operation, making it ideal for continuous, contamination-free processes.
Combining the proven sealing technology of the Retractex C with the flexible process connections of the Retractex B, the Retractex BC stands out in harsh environments, particularly in the biotech and food industries, while maintaining versatility across a wide range of other applications.
All-Around Excellence
Choose Retractex BC when you need a robust general-purpose sensor housing compatible with G 1 ¼ inch process connections. This compact sensor housing offers a 36 mm stroke to reduce seal wear and holds Hamilton’s sensors for process analytics with a length of 225 mm and a shaft diameter of 12 mm.
Versatile options include manual or pneumatic retraction, stainless steel (1.4404 or 2.4602) or PEEK, PVDF, PP materials, and multiple wetted sealing materials. Contact us with your special design requests.
Supports Seamless Processes
Retractex BC lets you maximize process uptime. Once retracted, the sensor and internal surfaces are easily cleaned while your process is running. Additionally, safety measures like “no sensor – no insertion” and a window to visually check seals for leakage help to protect users and products from harm.
Retractex BC is specifically engineered to support daily general-purpose continuous processing applications in chemistry and pharmaceutical markets.
Designed to meet strict international regulations, Retractex BC sensor housings adhere to standards such as ATEX, IECEx, UKEx, and EAC Ex.
Cleaning the sensor and internal housing surfaces is simple after retraction, and your process can continue running.
