Does carbon dioxide sparging impact my DO measurement?
CO2 sparging will not impact the DO measurement using an optical DO sensor. CO2 can impact traditional polarographic DO sensors over time thus more frequent electrolyte replacement may be needed. -
How should I store my polarographic DO sensor?
For short term storage (< 1 month), polarographic DO sensors should be stored wet in electrolyte solution with the membrane immersed in a watering cap. For long term storage (> 1 month), remove internal electrolyte, rinse cathode and membrane in deionized water, and store dry. Click to reference the storage document for more information.
