Priming Kit
To achieve accurate dispenses the syringe system must be fully primed with liquid to eliminate compressible air. When the dead volume in the needle or attached tubing exceeds the volume of the syringe, purging air from the system is difficult. In these cases, the Priming Kit can be used to backfill the system with liquid. If the sample volume is precious then it is common to prime with inexpensive buffer or mineral oil.
