Temperature Influence on DuraCal pH Buffer 9.21

pH changes based on the ambient temperature.  This article provides the pH values from 5 to 50°C for Hamilton's 9.21 DuraCal pH liquid buffers (Refs 238319, 238219, 238919, 238216, 238897).

A prerequisite for an accurate pH calibration is the availability of suitable buffer solutions. Hamilton 9.21 DuraCal liquid buffer solutions have an accuracy of +/- 0.02 pH over 60 months. Like all aqueous solutions, the pH value of the buffer is affected by changing temperature. The effects of temperature from 5 to 50°C is shown below in 1-degree increments.
