Verify Quality Pipetting Performance

Between scheduled service intervals, VeriPlate provides quantifiable assurance that your Hamilton automated liquid handler is performing at its peak.

Capillary and Optical Image-Based Analysis

This routine performance test kit is based on liquid capillary movement that is imaged and analyzed to produce a pass/fail result. In the simple four-step method, the Microlab STAR, STAR V, or VANTAGE dispenses a target (5 µL to 10 µL) volume of VeriPlate verification liquid into an ANSI/SLAS format VeriPlate containing capillary channels. The VeriPlate is imaged for analysis, and the generated report, along with images, may be downloaded and saved for documentation and compliance.

Optical image analysis of liquid-filled capillaries in the VeriPlate are correlated with liquid handling trueness and precision.

Any lab operator can set up the VeriPlate method via VENUS software without requiring a specialist visit or service call.

Routine VeriPlate quality tests can catch small deviations before they grow into time- and budget-consuming issues and unplanned downtime.

VeriPlate

Barcoded, disposable ANSI/SLAS format plate with 48 capillary slots to hold 5-10 µL of VeriPlate Verification Liquid.

Veriplate Verification Liquid

High-contrast verification liquid that may be transferred to the clear 20 mL reagent reservoir for access by the pipetting channel.

Reagent Reservoirs, 300 mL and 20 mL

Used for the Veriplate Verification Liquid.

Flatbed Scanner

Captures high-resolution images of the entire VeriPlate for analysis.

2D Barcode Scanner

Handheld barcode scanner to identify and document VeriPlate test components.

CELSORA (Wireless Humidity and Temperature Module)

Wireless humidity and temperature monitor that tracks any changes during the VeriPlate test.

Dedicated Carrier

Occupies six tracks on the liquid handling deck and includes all needed positions for the VeriPlate test.
