Hamilton offers alternatives in matters of training and service

(Bonaduz, 4/15/2020) – Due to the current situation, the business segment Process Analytics of Hamilton Bonaduz AG counts on alternatives in the field of customer care and daily business. Webinars as well as digital case studies regarding the topics PAT have been started recently and other business segments will soon follow. Global Sales Director Process Analytics Frank Wolpers sees the positive side of the communication channels born out of necessity. “Nothing can obviously replace face-to-face contact, which is especially important in sales. But due to the current contact restrictions we found a very good possibility in digital platforms to explain our Hamilton products to our existing customers and interested parties. We also took the opportunity to give our users a chance to speak. We received great feedback in this regard are we’re going to follow this path further in the future”. As manufacturer of sensors for the bio pharma and chemical industry as well as brewery processes, the swiss company’s products are only moderately relevant for the direct control of the Coronavirus. However, no negative economical impact has been apparent so far. “Business collapsed briefly in China a couple of weeks ago, but the situation was fortunately only short-lived”, explains Wolpers and adds: “We aren’t currently effected by production delays. Until now, we as well as our suppliers were able to deliver on time”. Processes in the field of repairs run as usual, since the sensors are sent in for this matter. If an in-situ service is necessary, Hamilton knows how to help their customers: live-demonstrations have already been held, in which the hardware as well as software were presented. Besides, the entire team is further available from their home offices via phone or mail.
