Bonaduz, Switzerland, and Munich, Germany (May 30, 2018) – Hamilton Bonaduz AG and MLL - Munich Leukemia Laboratory signed a collaboration agreement to develop automation of the NGS workflow. The collaboration includes a non-exclusive exchange of expertise and business. The Microlab® STAR™ automated workstation is the platform chosen for the automation of the NGS library preparation workflow.

This collaboration has already produced an Application Note wherein is described a validated method for fully automated TruSeq® DNA PCR-Free library preparation and TruSeq® Stranded Total RNA library preparation with reliable yield and quality. This validated method qualifies for inclusion into an accredited diagnostic process, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15189.
