Design Award 2017 for Glue Free Headspace Syringe

Hamilton Bonaduz AG receives award under the rubric „Special Mention“

(Bonaduz, 31.10.2016) – The Hamilton Bonaduz AG achieved recently a well-deserved success with the innovative Glue-Free HDHT-Type Headspace Syringe: The Swiss Company asserted itself against top-rated competition and was awarded in the rubric “Special Mention” at one of the worldwide leading design competitions - the German Design Award 2017. The dynamic HDHT-type syringe is far ahead of the conventional headspace syringes whose needles are attached to the syringe body using glue: It employs a unique adhesive-free snap-on connection with a snap-fit metal sleeve - securing in this way a chemically inertness and creating a better seal over a larger temperature range up to 200°C. The syringe deserves also a ‘Special Mention’ for the resulting improved accuracy and the increased lifetime over traditional headspace syringe.
