Sensor solutions for optical measurement of dissolved oxygen take center stage

Bonaduz, Switzerland (02.03.2017) – Once again, Hamilton Bonaduz AG will be present at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg. The Swiss expert is going to show its sensor solution for the optical measurement of dissolved oxygen in brewery processes in hall 6, booth 6-218.

The optical dissolved oxygen sensor VisiTrace DO convinces with fast, reliable and precise measurements in ppb ranges of 0-2000. The company meets therewith the essential need for exact dissolved oxygen measurements in low ppb ranges notably after the filtration, before filling and after water-de-aeration. Changes in the oxygen concentration can be detected quickly by means of short response times. The integrated micro transmitter processes signals via a 4-20 mA interface directly to the process control system. The sensor features furthermore an integrated Bluetooth 4.0, enabling in this way wireless data exchange with smartphones and tablets. The app required for the Bluetooth 4.0 is available for iOS and Android. The micro transmitter of sensors with the Arc technology saves all relevant data, including calibration and lifetime information, in the sensor head. Various adapters are available depending on the field of application, that i.a. allow for a wireless communication between the Arc sensors and mobile devices as well as an 1:1 compatibility with existing installations. Color indicators report on the sensor and also on the mobile device the current sensor status.

The portable measuring device Beverly was developed in close cooperation with breweries and is therefore structured exactly to their specific requirements. Beverly can be used at any point during the brewery process and provides as a result easy and fast quality control.
