Many visitors came to see the innovations at Hamilton's booth

Hamilton showed sensors for dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH and cell density measurement at ACHEMA 2015

(Bonaduz, June 25, 2015) – Hamilton Bonaduz AG successfully demonstrated its sensors for process analytics at this year’s ACHEMA in Frankfurt, Germany. “We are very satisfied. Many visitors were interested in our solutions. Our sensors e.g. for biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry and chemical industry with its rough environments were well regarded”, says Dr. Knut Georgy, Senior Market Segment Manager Process Analytics.

Especially the preview of the coming Bluetooth 4.0-communicating wireless adapters, the associated app as well as the Incyte and Dencytee sensors were highlights at Hamilton’s booth. The sensors measure the viable and total cell density in bioprocesses. As they work on-line, they continuously deliver reliable results. This is a major step forward - especially for applications in cell culture and fermentation.

Hamilton also presented the new Polilyte Plus sensor family for the first time. The sensors ensure reliable pH measurement in harsh process environments and stand out against other pH-sensors on the market.

The Conducell UPW Arc sensor was a further innovation presented by Hamilton. It measures the conductivity and thus the quality of ultra-pure water (UPW) – this particularly plays an important role in biotechnology as well as in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

“It doesn’t matter, whether our customers want to measure dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH or cell density: our broad spectrum of sensors for process analytics that we showed for BioPharma and ChemPharma applications, outperform all requirments. That’s why we could not only convince our existing but also many prospective customers”, says Dr. Knut Georgy. He is sure, that the generated contacts will lead to new partnerships.
