Portable Optical dissolved oxygen device from Hamilton Bonaduz AG impresses by its reliability and robust design

At this year’s BrauBeviale, the trade fair for beverage production and marketing, Hamilton Bonaduz AG will present sensor solutions for measuring dissolved oxygen in brewery processes. From November 11 to 13, industry decision makers can inform themselves about these products in hall 6 at exhibition stand 6-152.

The mobile optical oxygen measuring device Beverly represents an absolute novelty at the experts’ exhibition stand. This portable measuring device was designed for simple and fast quality control, developed in close coordination with breweries and tailored precisely to their requirements. The robust optical inline oxygen sensor VisiFerm DO B installed in Beverly is based on an oxygen-dependent fluorescence measuring principle. The VisiFerm DO B can be easily removed and used as a standard inline sensor. This offers great flexibility for the user. A useful and economical solution that is versatile in application is therefore offered for small and midsize breweries as well.

The simple handling and the maintenance-friendly and therefore also cost-effective design make Beverly an ideal measuring device for everyday brewery use. This is also supported by its robust construction. The portable measuring device also offers benefits in operation: the intuitive use makes intensive training obsolete. Calibration does not demand great effort either and can be performed independently by the users. Beverly features outstanding responsiveness in the ppb (parts per billion) range and the measurements are clearly shown on the display in real time. The long battery life is an added plus, supporting 50 hours of continuous operation. Additional benefits that argue for Beverly are the IP 67 protection against moisture, reliable measurements and extremely easy maintenance.
