Small Gauge Metal Needles

Fine gauge needles are used for animal injections to limit tissue damage and sample loss. Removable needles have minimal dead volume and for this reason are recommended over a luer or luer lock connection. These needles are compatible with RN syringes 100 µL and smaller. At the time of ordering specify the desired length and point style.

Can Hamilton syringes be used on humans?
Hamilton syringes are not manufactured for human use and are designed primarily for analytical chemistry and chromatography applications. Hamilton also makes syringes and accessories for life science and neuroscience, but those applications are solely intended for animal use. Why is there a wire sticking out of my new needle?
Some smaller gauge needles are shipped with cleaning wires threaded through the needle to ensure that the needles are free of debris. The wire must be removed before use.
