Single-Channel Pipettors & Volume Adjustable Pipettes
SoftGrip adjustable volume pipettes are available in 0.2 µL - 1 mL. The isolated volume adjustment makes it so there's no need for a locking mechanism to prevent accidental volume adjustment. Our new generation of pipettes has a dual indicator that improves the volume adjustment accuracy by removing the parallax errors. The slim ejection sleeve is made from a high strength, chemically resistant polymer. The slim design allows the pipette to reach to the bottom of narrow tubes without the need for extended length tips. SoftGrip pipettes have a universal calibration key that reduces the need for costly calibration services. Calibration requires only minutes to perform and eliminates the downtime and cost of alternative calibration methods. The SoftGrip tip nozzle ensures a proper fit with universal pipette tips. Unique color coding and labeling clearly indicates the working ranges of the adjustable volume pipettes.
Adjustable Pipettes Accuracy and Precision
SoftGrip pipettes come factory calibrated with the highest overall accuracy and precision in the industry. Maintaining this high performance is made simple with the cost effective in lab calibration procedure.

Manual - SoftGrip Single-Channel PipettesThis user manual covers SoftGrip fixed- and adjustable-volume pipettes, explaining the proper operation, calibration, care, and use to extend product life.
Are the Hamilton SoftGrip pipettes autoclavable?Yes, the Hamilton adjustable volume, fixed volume, and multi-channel pipettes are autoclavable at 121°C without the need for disassembly or recalibration.
Why are the Hamilton pipettes autoclavable? All materials used in the SoftGrip pipette, including those in the upper body, are autoclavable. Many competitor models contain materials in the upper body that cannot withstand autoclaving, causing melting or warping that leaves the pipette unusable.
When I want to autoclave the Hamilton SoftGrip pipette, do I need to do anything special to the pipette prior? It is suggested to loosen the lower body of the Hamilton pipette and place it inside an autoclave bag before autoclaving. Doing so may extend the life of the product.
Pipette CalibrationCalibration is a simple procedure that requires only a single key! Available to fit any SoftGrip model or volume range, Hamilton's calibration key allows you to service your instruments in the lab.
