This guide provides instructions to connect the Microlab Prep instrument to a network to access remote file shares. Enabling this functionality allows for the following: 

  • Specifying a hit-picking or reagent from file worklist at a networked file share.
  • Specifying a normalization input file at a networked file share.
  • Importing protocols, labware, and liquid classes from a networked file share.
  • Exporting run reports to a networked file share.
  • Export protocols to a networked file share.
  • Export diagnostic files (diagnostics, traces, camera diagnostics, etc.) to a networked file share.
  • Backup and restore instrument backups from a networked file share.
  • Retrieve a secure key from a networked file share.
  • Update software from a networked file share.
