What is the difference between VP, S8, K8, Arc, and Memosens sensor versions, and which connection type should I choose?

Hamilton sensors are available with VP, S8, K8, and Memosens connections. VP6, S8, and K8 are conventional connections for analog sensors. VP8 is used for Arc sensors, which integrate a micro-transmitter and support digital Modbus and 4–20 mA outputs. Memosens is a digital inductive connection technology used for Memosens sensors.
