Is the measurement from Dencytee Arc less reliable if the quality index decreases?

Although the probe is very robust and designed for long process life, it is subject to a certain amount of aging. The quality indicator takes the operating hours and sensor diagnostic results into account and recommends replacement when needed. In addition, the probe has other built-in features that constantly check the sensor, even during a measurement.

The evaluation of the quality monitoring is also included in the Quality Index (QI). This is a precautionary measure to avoid the failure of the sensor in a process. However, the quality of the measurement result is not reduced by a lower QI. Dencytee Arc will still function well and measure reliably below 40%, but the sensor will have a warning that it needs to be replaced soon. When the QI drops to 10%, the sensor will no longer be functioning reliably and will hold an error stating that it needs to be replaced.
