How can linearity between the optical in-line measurement and an off-line measurement be ensured while using Dencytee Arc?

The Dencytee Arc uses two optical methods: transmission measurement and reflection measurement. Even though both measurement methods are not linear, they can be combined to produce a linear signal. To produce a linear signal, the probe is "trained" in the first culture run which is known as the "correlation” batch. Once the correlation has been completed successfully, the probe uses the optimal combination of reflectance and transmittance in subsequent runs to calculate a linear relationship.
