Next Level Standardization: Expanding and Seeding HeLa Cells with Cell Care STAR

The Hamilton Cell Care STAR is designed for standardized cell maintenance workflows, ensuring that cells are treated in the same, reproducible way, every day of every week. Experimental data and records are reported via the Cell Control software—a user-friendly interface managing a variety of different cell culture applications in the background.
Here, we show the advantages of cell culture automation based on the two Cell Control methods : Expansion and Seeding. With a variety of adjustable parameters, these work steps allow the user to expand cells from a single 24-well culture plate into multiple 24-well target plates, or to seed them into 96-well plates for setting up an experiment.
