Automated fermentation of an E. coli strain for efficient amino acid production

Developing robust fermentation processes requires scalable, predictive downscale models. This application note presents an automated high-throughput fermentation system combining the Hamilton Microlab® STARlet with the 2mag bioREACTOR 48, enabling parallel cultivation of up to 48 E. coli strains under tightly controlled conditions for efficient L-cysteine production.
