Comprehensive Genomic Profiling (CGP) is a Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technique, assessing hundreds of genes relevant for tumor diagnostic. The Roche AVENIO Tumor Tissue CGP Kit allows for the CGP of solid tumors by extracting DNA from Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Using this kit, the content of the 324 gene FoundationOne® CDx panel is addressed.

High-Quality DNA Libraries:
The NGS STAR generates high-quality DNA libraries suitable for comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP). It processes a wide range of input DNA amounts (50-1000 ng) from FFPE tissue samples, ensuring robust and reliable sequencing results. This capability is essential for detecting various mutation classes such as SNVs, InDels, CNAs, and rearrangements, making it a powerful tool for in-depth genomic analysis.

Time-Saving Automation:
The NGS STAR provides a fully automated workflow for library preparation and target enrichment, significantly reducing hands-on time. Automated barcode verification ensures the correct placement of reagents and samples, minimizing errors and streamlining the process. This high level of automation allows laboratories to focus on other critical tasks while the system efficiently prepares the libraries.

Increased Throughput and Reproducibility:
The NGS STAR is designed for high throughput, capable of preparing 24 DNA libraries in a single run. Its advanced temperature control features, including on-deck thermal cyclers and cooling modules, ensure optimal conditions for each step, leading to consistent and reproducible results. This consistency is crucial for large-scale studies and clinical applications where high reliability is required.
