AutoLys Tubes Details

AutoLys Tubes are purpose-built to automate tedious sample lysis and nucleic acid extraction steps when processing DNA. This novel tube assembly consists of a lid, an inner tube with a filter, and an outer tube with a 2D barcode.

Common applications Genomics, Nucleic Acid Extraction, Biobanking, In Vitro Diagnostics, Pre-Analytics & Primary Sample Processing

Strengthen yield, reproducibility, and overall DNA purity

Reduce time spent on manual sample lysis and nucleic acid extraction steps

Increase sample throughput with full sample chain of custody

Tube-in-Tube Assembly

  • Threaded lid is automatically manipulated using the AutoLys Channel on the AutoLys STAR assay ready workstation.
  • Inner tube contains 2 mm thick membrane filter. Non-filter version available in U.S. and Canada only.
  • Outer tube holds cleared lysate and is 2D barcoded to support sample tracking.

Quality Benchmarks

  • Tested to be free from DNase, RNase, endotoxins, human DNA, PCR inhibitors, and ATP.
  • Sterilized via ethylene oxide.
