Automated sample processing in microcentrifuge tube format is possible with our 1.5 mL FlipTube. These tubes feature a unique lid design that is easily opened and closed without manual intervention using the FlipTube Tool integrated on Hamilton’s automated liquid handling platforms. The lid and tube form a precise seal to prevent sample evaporation, and gentle opening using the FlipTube Tool minimizes risk of aerosol formation. FlipTubes also benefit manual use, aiding one-handed operation with improved ergonomics compared to standard tube types.

- FlipTube lid locks into place when opened in an automated or manual workflow.
- Tight lid seal to prevent evaporation when tube is closed.
