Next Generation Sequencing Mass Spectrometry Cell Biology High Throughput Automation
Next Generation Sequencing
Hamilton's Next Generation Sequencing workstations fully automate NGS library preparation, ensuring simple reproducibility and traceability. Specialized NGS platforms are available for the STAR, STARV, and VANTAGE workstations.
- 1 MagPip Technology
- Precision pipetting at lightning speeds at a volume range of 350 nL to 750 µL. Dispense 384 well plates in seconds.
- 2 On-Deck Thermo Cycler
- Compact solution providing unmatched well-to-well temperature uniformity, rapid cycling, and seamless integration.
- 3 Fluoreye
- Rapid fluorescence detection device enabling DNA/RNA quantification, measuring 96 wells in 3 minutes directly on deck.
- 4 Hamilton Heater Shaker 3G
- Heat a variety of ANSI/SLAS plates and tubes at temperatures up to 105°C and shake at speeds up to 2500 RPM.
Mass Spectrometry
The MassXtract STARlet assay-ready workstation automates mass spectrometry sample preparation. The platform strategically enables both protein precipitation and solid phase extraction to offer greater functionality in a smaller footprint.
- 1 Centrifuge
- Fully integrated and enclosed in the STARlet, allowing for dual plate loading and transport via the CO-RE Gripper.
- 2 [MPE]2 Solid Phase Extraction
- An automated solid-phase extraction module. Works with 24, 48, and 96 well plates in addition to most SPE cartridges.
- 3 Evaporator Module
- Pair the evaporator module with the [MPE]2 base unit to automate application-specific needs, such as concentration.
- 4 Hamilton Heater Cooler
- Heats and cools ANSI/SLAS microplates at a temperature range of 0°C- 110°C. A built-in drain manages condensation.
Cell Biology
Automate the time-consuming and laborious cell culture maintenance workflows such as seeding cells, passaging/splitting cells, and changing media. Scalable and customizable with optional integrations based on throughput and workflow requirements.
- 1 VCAP - HEPA/UV Module
- Intelligent hood delivers clean air and maintains a positive pressure environment. Optional UV sterilization module.
- 2 5 ML Channel - High Volume Liquid Transfer
- Aspirate and dispense larger volumes more efficiently with 5 mL channels. Maximum of 4 mL when using filtered tips.
- 3 Tilt Module
- Tilt plates with an adjustable range of 0-10°, facilitating the removal of top media without disturbing adherent cells.
- 4 Temperature Control Carriers
- Five-position carrier that cools or heats labware on the deck. Can be used to maintain cells at preferred temperatures.
High Throughput Automation
The VANTAGEplus provides integration with large-scale track systems for diagnostics and research-based work cells. To provide greater application speed and parallel processing, the VANTAGEPLUS utilizes two pipetting arms.
- 1 Extended Arm
- Provides integration access to track systems or additional equipment.
- 2 TLA System (Total Laboratory Automation)
- An integrated track system connects workstations, reducing the need for manual intervention in automated workflows.
- 3 Integrate with Any Track System
- VANTAGEplus is compatible with a variety of track systems to easily integrate into existing workflows.
