Hygienic Socket Details

The space-saving, easily sterilized Hygienic Socket is ideal for welding into fermenters or small pipes. Its benefits extend to water treatment, pharmaceutical, and chemical tanks/pipes. 

Designed for 120mm sensors, it offers easy installation, maintenance, improved cleaning, and increased safety. Two "Life Guard" openings indicate seal failures. The Hamilton DO Adapter allows variable sensor insertion depth for dissolved oxygen or conductivity.

What is the Hygienic Socket?

The Hygienic Socket is a single product that combines the functionality of a welded socket along with a static sensor housing all in one device. The Hygienic Socket welded directly into the side of the vessel. Any 120mm by 12mm diameter sensor can be directly inserted to make a sanitary installation. The Hygienic socket reduces the cost and complexity of installing sensors into stainless steel vessels.
